More than half cannot read or write, and most have limited job skills, which means a lifetime of hardship for the entire family. By providing skill training and employment opportunities, we are changing the trajectory for families in Debre Zeyit.
We are helping mothers in Ethiopia support their children by training them and providing start up materials to begin their own businesses. These income generating activities (IGA) will allow them to make meaningful contributions to their household income.
Keep reading to meet the mothers and pledge your support.
